The work
Four sample pages. Four different decisions.
Live, responsive demonstrations — not clients, and not recolours of one template. Each business is fictional, disclosed on the page itself, and kept out of search results.
Ruby Mae’s
Open the sample Restaurant · editorial · full asset packBuilt to the deepest architecture of the four: five acts derived from how a diner decides, a printed-menu typographic system, and twelve photographs made as one graded family before a line of the page was written.
Crown & Line
Open Barber + salon · appointmentService first, then working direction, then the policies — in the order a person actually decides to book.
Bright Grove
Open Childcare · trustA family path that answers the hard questions on the page and asks for as little private information as it possibly can.
Delta Home Works
Open Home service · conversionOne-tap calling, plain coverage, and a short estimate request — in the order a homeowner without heat actually asks for them.
Specimen · Ruby Mae’s asset pack4 of 12 frames
One art direction, one grade, one set of aspect-locked frames. The point of a pack made this way is that the page still holds when a real client swaps in three phone photos shot at noon.

The ledger
$399, and here is every edge of it.
A price only means anything if the scope is fixed. This is the whole boundary in one place — what is in, what is not, and how the money moves — before you spend a dollar. You should be able to read the edges of it in under two minutes.

In the $399 — included
Everything below is in the founding price, with nothing held back for an upsell later.
- One page Included A single scrolling page with as many sections as your thing actually needs.
- Adapted from a design I have already built Included I start from one of my layouts and fit it to you — your words, your images, your order of things. It is a fitting, not a blank canvas.
- Your words and photos, shaped Included I cut, order and set what you send me so it reads well. I do not write your copy and I do not take your pictures.
- Built for a phone first Included Then checked on a laptop, on a slow connection, and with the text scaled up.
- One way for people to reach you Included A simple contact form, or your email and phone laid out so a thumb can hit them.
- Your domain pointed at it, hosting set up Included You buy and own the domain. Hosting goes on a free tier that a page this size fits comfortably inside, in an account with your name on it.
- One revision round Included You look at the first draft and send everything you want changed in one message. I make those changes.
- The files, handed over Included At the end you have the page itself, not a rental you lose access to.
Not in the $399 — quoted apart
None of this is a trick. It is the list of things I would have to price separately, and I would rather you see it now.
- Bespoke design work Not included No logo, no illustration, no brand system built from nothing. If you have a logo I will use it well; if you do not, the page works without one.
- A second page Quoted apart Extra pages are real work and get quoted on their own.
- Copywriting and photography You supply If you want the words written or the pictures taken, that is a different job and a different number.
- Booking, payments, logins, carts, a blog you post to Not included Anything with a database behind it is past this price.
- Rolling changes after the revision round Billed Once the round is done and the page is live, further edits are billed, or we agree a small monthly arrangement.
- Search campaigns, ads, running your social accounts Not included I build the page. I am not going to pretend the page alone brings you traffic.
- A rush Ask first If you need it by Friday, say so before you pay and I will tell you honestly whether that is possible.
How the money moves
- Deposit
- Half up front, before I start.
- Balance
- The other half on the day it goes live.
- If it misses
- If the first draft is wrong for you and you would rather stop there, we stop and I return the deposit.
- Ownership
- The files and the accounts are yours at handover.
- Renewals
- There are none. Nothing on this page is a subscription.
- Currency
- US dollars.
Total, fixed $399
Founding rate through 31 October 2026. From 1 November the price is $650. If you need something off the right-hand list, tell me and I will price it on its own — I would rather say $399 does not cover that than take your money and quietly stretch the job until neither of us is happy.
02
Made
A made page, not a dragged one.
Template builders are good at making something exist. They are bad at making it feel like it belongs to the person who made the work. Every block in there has been dragged into place by ten thousand other people, and readers pick that up long before they can name it.
-
Written
Built, not assembled
Your page is hand-written HTML and CSS. No builder chrome, no plugin sprawl, no cookie banner you never asked for, nothing loading in the background that you cannot explain.
-
Fitted
Cut to your work
Type, spacing and colour get chosen against your actual photographs and your actual sentences — not against a demo written for a yoga studio in a city neither of us has been to.
-
Yours
Yours to keep
You get the files and the accounts are in your name. If you and I never speak again, the page keeps running and any developer can pick it up without calling me first.
03
Founding price
$399 is founding pricing. It goes up on 1 November.
I am not going to dress this up as a sale. The price is low because the earliest pages under this name need to exist — I need real work I can point at, made for real people, with their names on it. Those five get $399.
After the fifth one the price rises, and it will not come back down. If you are one of the five and you come back later for another page, you keep the founding rate on that one too. That is the entire trade: you take a chance early, and it costs you less for as long as we work together.
04
Straight talk
What you should know before you send me money.
Four things I would want to know if I were the one about to pay.
-
There is no client work to show you yet
MadeWeb is new. If seeing five finished sites for five happy people is what would decide this for you, I do not have that, and you should hear it from me rather than notice the gap yourself. What I can show you is this page and the four samples above — I built all of them, and they are a fair sample of the care you would get.
-
It is one person, working around a job
I cook thirty hours a week and build the rest of the time. That is exactly why the scope is bounded the way it is. I can do a small, well-defined thing properly. I cannot do an open-ended thing properly right now, so I do not offer one.
-
I am in Olive Branch, Mississippi
Greater Memphis. If you are near enough, we can sit down with your photos on a table, which is genuinely the fastest way to do this. If you are not, it runs fine over email.
-
You can outgrow this on purpose
$399 buys a good one-page site. If your thing grows into staff logins, a booking system or a shop, you will need more than this — and I will say so plainly instead of selling you a fourth revision round on a page that has stopped fitting.
05
How it goes
Five steps, and you can stop after the second.
-
01
You tell me what you make
One email. What you do, who you want to reach, and what you want a stranger to do within thirty seconds of landing on the page.
You send -
02
I send back a plan and a price
Before any money moves. If it fits the $399 scope, I say so. If it does not, I tell you what pushed it over and what that costs, and you are free to walk.
No money yet -
03
Deposit, then I build
You send your words and your photos. I fit a layout to them and build the page.
Half up front -
04
First draft, then one revision round
You sit with it, and send everything you would change in a single message. Making it one message is what keeps this at $399 rather than at an hourly rate.

Domain, launch, handover
We point your domain at it, the balance is due, and the files and accounts move to your name.

Fit
Who a made page is for.
-
Yes This fits well
- A photographer with a full feed and nowhere to send anyone who asks.
- A baker taking orders in direct messages and losing half of them.
- A tutor who needs a rate card, a short note about how they teach, and a way to be contacted.
- A musician with dates, a couple of tracks and a booking email.
- Someone leaving a job in three months who wants a home for the thing they are going out on.
- Anyone who wants one honest page and nothing else.
-
No This fits badly
- You need six pages, staff accounts and a booking system on day one.
- You want someone to write the words and take the photographs as well.
- You want to be able to change the page yourself every week without asking me.
- You need it live in four days.
If you are a business with staff, several locations, or a booking system, there is a second brand for exactly that work — RightWeb.site, the right website. You are welcome to buy a made page here either way, and plenty of small businesses only ever need one. That side is where the bigger builds go.
07
Start
Tell me what you are making.
One email is enough to begin. What you make, who it is for, and what you want someone to do when they find you. I will read it myself and answer with a plan and a number before you pay anything.
Remittance
Send one email. Nothing is owed until there is a plan and a number you have agreed to.
Half up front, half on the day it goes live. If the first draft is wrong for you and you would rather stop there, we stop and I return the deposit.
